Introducing Brown Hall

Beginning in fall 2013, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to live in suite-style rooms in Brown Hall at the Health Sciences Campus. Here's just a few things that residents of our newest hall will have to look forward to this fall.

Affordable, On-Campus Living

Brown Hall offers residents the feel of off-campus living with the luxury of on-campus affordability and convenience. Upper-class students living in Brown Hall will have the opportunity to choose from single or double suite-style rooms. As with all of our living communities, utilities are included and residents are free from the hassle of monthly bills.

Food Services' newest dining hall, which will be housed in Scott Hall, will open for breakfast and lunch at the Health Sciences Campus beginning in fall 2013. Some of the highlights of the new eatery will include hand-pattied hamburgers, fresh hand-cut fries, made-to-order meals and tasty gelato available to any student on a UGA meal plan.

Trendy Athens Living

The former home of the U.S. Navy Supply Corps School, the University of Georgia’s Health Sciences Campus is located in a popular area of Athens known as Normaltown.

Made famous in the 1980s by chart-topping bands like R.E.M and The B-52s, Normaltown is now home to a mixture of historic and modern architecture, spirited pubs, and several highly esteemed local eateries. In fact, the trendy Athens neighborhood has even been coined a “foodie paradise” where residents can find homemade pastries, southern BBQ, and locally grown, fresh ingredients in just a few minutes walking distance.
